That’s where the standardized extraction method is employed. With this method involving meticulous selection and removal of different items, standardized kratom extracts are produced. They contain only 100% alkaloid such as mitragynine or 7-hydroxymitragynine or both. But almost 85% of standardized kratom extracts sold in the market contain pure mitragynine. It is because mitragynine is believed to be the most active component of kratom that is responsible for the stimulating and sedating effects.
