Tips For First-Time Kratom Users

Tips For First-Time Kratom Users

In this blog post, we share some tips for first-time kratom users.

Do your research

Beginners should conduct research into kratom before consuming it. From your research, you will learn the benefits of the herb and its side effects. You should know what strain works and its possible interactions. When in doubt, consult a physician.

Know the right dosage

The amount of the herb you consume at a time determines the extent or severity of the effects. As a rule of thumb, beginners should begin with smaller amounts and increase dosage as their tolerance increases. The generally accepted dosage for kratom is 2.4 g, but we advise beginners to start with 1 g at a time- How well kratom interacts with your body depends on factors such as genetics, weight, age, etc. It is also worth noting that as you increase your dosage, the more the sedating effects.

Everyone is different- and it is all about finding what works for you.

Types of kratom

When you want to buy premium kratom products online, you will find different labeling such as white, green, red, yellow vein, etc.

These strains or types have varying effects on the body, and they are made through different processing techniques. The most common types of kratom you will find are:

White vein kratom: White vein kratom is gotten from the young leaves of the Mitragyna Speciosa plant. It is known for its energizing effects, mood boost, and analgesic properties.

Red vein kratom: Red vein is best known for its sedative/calming and pain-killing effects.

Green vein kratom: Green Vein kratom provides a balanced experience. Think of it as a combination of red and white vein kratom.

Improve the taste

You will quickly discover that kratom doesn’t have the best taste- This should be expected, as most beneficial herbs and plant seeds contain bitter-tasting alkaloids, tannins, and other chemical compounds. Take coffee beans as an example, doesn’t taste so well.

One of the ways you can improve your experience is by mixing the bitter kratom powder with a suitable beverage such as milk, smoothie, or water. You can also start with capsules instead of consuming bitter powder.

Know kratom products

You have a wide range of options when it comes to kratom. Kratom products include powder, tea, extracts, capsules, tablets, etc. These products have pros and cons, and you must learn about them to get the best treatment. For instance, advanced users buy kratom extracts online for the high potency and quick absorption rate.
